Learning to code
I studied programming at School 21 Samarkand as an active student, and I organized coding workshops for my peers.
Samarkand, Uzbekistan — Cybersecurity & AI
Hi, I’m Sardorkhon. I founded PhishGuard, a Telegram bot that hundreds of Uzbek citizens use against online fraud, and I co-authored a paper on how AI can detect cyber-attacks.
01 / 08 — About
I study how people get tricked, then build tools that warn them first. PhishGuard, my Telegram bot, scores how likely a link is to be phishing and checks APK files for malware before anyone opens them. Hundreds of Uzbek citizens have used it, and the Ministry’s Department of Cybersecurity reviewed it.
In summer 2026 I joined the Department of Finance at Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, supervised by Prof. Jahongir R. Zaynalov. I built a model of financial risk using probability, statistics and calculus, and we co-authored a review of AI methods for cyber-attack detection.
Outside research I build and organize: a cybersecurity club that grew from 0 to 45+ students, a home lab with a SIEM, and a Telegram store I ran for three months. I care about AI safety, and I enjoy teaching what I learn.
02 / 08 — Where it began
2024
I studied programming at School 21 Samarkand as an active student, and I organized coding workshops for my peers.
2024–2025
I founded my school’s Cybersecurity Club and grew it to more than 45 students. I designed a 10-week hands-on hacking curriculum and raised $500 for technical equipment.
2025
I wrote a Python network vulnerability scanner and built a home lab with a SIEM system to collect and monitor security events.
03 / 08 — Focus & activities
Studying how phishing messages imitate real ones, and designing warnings that appear before a click instead of after.
Python · Telegram bots
Machine learning, deep learning and LLMs for detecting network intrusions, malware and phishing, reviewed against 10 sources.
NIST frameworks
Estimating how likely an investment is to lose value, and by how much, with probability, statistics and calculus.
Probability · Statistics · Calculus
A Python vulnerability scanner for networks, built to find weak points before someone else does.
Python · Scanning
A home lab where a SIEM collects and monitors security events, so I can see what an attack looks like from the defender’s side.
SIEM · Home lab
A school club of 45+ members, coding workshops for peers, and English lessons for young relatives.
Curriculum · Workshops
04 / 08 — Education timeline
Expected Jun 2027

Key courses
Advanced Algebra, Advanced Geometry, Advanced English, Physics, Informatics, Astronomy, Basics of Economics, Basics of Entrepreneurship and Basics of State Law.
2024
Programming student and workshop organizer. IT Park Uzbekistan courses and self-study in front-end and back-end web development followed.
Summer 2026
Student researcher in the Department of Finance, Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, supervised by Prof. Jahongir R. Zaynalov, Head of Department.
Math gave me the models. Security gave me something to point them at.
05 / 08 — Projects & leadership
user sends a link or an APK file → phishing likelihood score / malware check → warning shown before it is opened
Founder & developer — Jul 2025–Feb 2026
A Telegram bot (@phishguardI_bot) that scores how likely a link is to be phishing and checks APK files for malware. Built under a Samarkand youth cybersecurity initiative of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, used by hundreds of Uzbek citizens and reviewed by the Ministry’s Department of Cybersecurity.
input: an investment → probability of losing value → expected size of the loss
Student researcher — Summer 2026
A mathematical model that estimates how likely an investment is to lose value and by how much. I wrote, ran and tested the code, interpreted the results and produced a research paper.
scanner → lab network
SIEM collects and monitors the events
Builder — 2025
A Python network vulnerability scanner, plus a home lab with a SIEM system that collects and monitors security events.
sourcing → marketing → delivery → support
orders handled through a Telegram bot
Founder — 2025
Resold goods sourced from China at about half the price of local shops, for three months. I handled sourcing, marketing, delivery and support, built the bot, and grew orders beyond friends through promotions.
Each project starts with how real people get tricked or lose money, then turns what I learn into something people can use.
06 / 08 — Achievements
Academic results, plus the research and project milestones behind them.
